May 07, 2020
Category: Restaurants

Craving sweet and sour chicken with a side of pork fried rice? Whether you’re staying in Napa Valley or just passing through from Northern California, there are plenty of delicious Chinese restaurants that will satisfy your cravings. Most Asian restaurants in the area are privately owned and serve generous portions of authentic Chinese food.

Here are some of the best places to get flavorful Chinese fare in the Napa Valley region.

Asia Cafe

Asia Cafe is located on Main Street in Napa Valley. It’s a quiet, family owned restaurant that serves lunch and dinner, as well as beer and wine. It may not look like much from the outside, but the cafe has been serving Napa Valley residents and tourists for over 30 years. Expect large portions of food, authentic flavors and spices and fair prices.

Jade Garden Chinese Restaurant

This simple Chinese restaurant has some of the best Asian food in town! It’s located on Old California Way in Napa and serves both lunch and dinner. Enjoy all of your favorite Chinese dishes like wonton soup, spring rolls, pot stickers and chow mein. Like many of the other Chinese hotspots on our list, Jade Garden serves large portions at reasonable prices.

Golden Harvest

If you don’t mind traveling north a bit, head on over to Golden Harvest Restaurant. They have amazing Chinese cuisine like hot and sour soup, chow mein and Szechaun chicken. The restaurant uses high quality ingredients and even makes their own chicken broth daily! The portions are large, the prices are reasonable and the restaurant serves wine and beer for dining in.

Hop Hing’s Kitchen

Hop Hing’s Kitchen is a casual dining spot that serves familiar rice and noodle dishes like chow mein and shrimp and vegetables over steamed rice. You can order to-go, dine-in or have the food delivered to where you’re staying. Hop Hing’s even makes it easy to serve a family with its dinner specials that feed 4-5 people with chow mein, egg rolls, fried rice and pot stickers.

Wah Sing

Another Chinese restaurant that’s worth checking out is Wah Sing, located in the River Park Shopping Center. This family-owned restaurant has a warm and inviting atmosphere with authentic Chinese cuisine like kung pao chicken and the sweet and sour delight. Some menu items are made fresh daily such as the homemade dumplings and flavorful sweet and sour sauce.
