The art scene of Napa Valley is almost as historical and amazing as the wineries of the area. From the unique art displayed in local vineyards to the special art exhibits on display in signature galleries, you have more than enough options to explore.

If your stay with us here in wine country is short, we highly recommend you start your art gallery tour with these three top galleries in Napa Valley:

  • The Hess Collection – Within the Hess Winery, you find the Hess Collection. Donald Hess started his compilation in 1966 but did not share it with the public until 1989. Now this historic winery (which is also available for tours and tastings) offers you the chance to see his exclusive collection of fine arts. Admission is free, and the staff is on hand to help you explore the exemplary art on display.
  • See the Living Gallery – At Ma(i)sonry, you will find artwork, artistic gardens, and luxurious furnishings, accompanied by excellent Ma(i)sonry is a breathtaking home restoration from 1904. Not only is it listed in the National Register of Historic Places, but it is also home to living art that you can touch, feel, and explore. You will even see an exotic furniture showroom on the premises.
  • The Vast di Rosa Collection – See the unique collection that contains more than 2,000 special pieces of art at di Rosa. The 217-acre indoor gallery includes works by some of the most celebrated artists of the area. One noteworthy aspect of this gallery is that there are no explanations provided with the works on display. Instead, Rene di Rosa wants you to find your own meaning to every piece you see here.

Napa Valley is the ideal location for wine and art lovers alike. Not only will you find a myriad of galleries, but most also include wine tastings and exclusive tours.
