Celebrate Napa Valley’s Harvest Season 2019

When fall rolls around, the kids go back to school and the wineries kick into full gear for harvest season. This is an ideal time to visit Napa. Not only will you get to watch the grape harvesting process, but you can also enjoy some of the most exciting events in wine country.

Here are a few of the events to check out this September:

• Crocker & Starr’s Carnivus Maximus: This annual event is when Crocker & Starr will release their 2015 Cabernet Sauvignon along with other wines from their library of cellars. You can enjoy great wine and also a feast from local culinarians.
• CIA at Copia: Come visit the Culinary Institute of America’s Ciderfest that includes seasonal food, live music, and local ciders made fresh.
• The Hess Collection: At the annual Lion’s Release Dinner, enjoy great wines from the Hess Collection’s Art Museum on September 14th. Tickets are $300 per person, but if you are a member, you can snag a spot for $240 per person.
• Annual Harvest Ball at V. Sattui Winery: The annual Harvest Ball is the perfect wine and dine experience. Not only do you have live music from a local cover band, but also a multiple course cuisine created by Michelin-starred chefs from the winery.
